Mitland Hotel Utrecht offers wireless broadband internet via KPN HotSpots. The Hotel Mitland can thus offer you wireless access to Internet, email, schedule and data. WiFi is available in all conference/congress rooms, lounges, and the hotel bar and restaurant. WiFi is standard in all deluxe rooms. Mitland Hotel Utrecht was one of the first hotels in Utrecht to offer KPN HotSpots WiFi.

About KPN HotSpots

When you are on the go, KPN HotSpots makes it possible for you to access wireless internet quickly and easily. To accomplish this we have teamed up with a number of location partners. KPN HotSpots originated out of HubHop, the service provider acquired by KPN at the end of 2003. At the time, HubHop had 100 HotSpot locations. The number of HotSpots has greatly increased since then, to well near 700 as of April 2006. HotSpots are located in train stations, at hotels, leisure parks, gas stations and catering establishments throughout the Netherlands. In an effort to provide even more HotSpots, KPN has teamed up with T-Mobile, thereby more than doubling the number of available HotSpots.

In January 2006, KPN acquired Attingo, Schiphol Airport’s internet provider. KPN is the market leader for HotSpots in the Netherlands. To the greatest extent possible, KPN seeks to combine its various services, making the utilization of its HotSpots as attractive as possible.

KPN HotSpots BV is a fully-fledged subsidiary of KPN. KPN HotSpots make good the corporation’s ambition to connect people at all times in all places. There are presently 30 professionals working to provide KPN clients with the best possible service.

KPN HotSpots BV continues to look for new, innovative wireless internet applications. Performance tests for wireless internet in the train is a good example. Tests are currently being conducted on the Haarlem-Heerlen train route.
